Firestone's | Erie, PA

It's been a HOT minute since I was able to get out and do a proper review. (Did you see what I did there?!) Thankfully, I have had some time to get a few new local spots and have some things ready for you!

The sun is out (today at least), the air is warm and everyone who had ants in their pants finally has a chance to get out and get some fresh air. If you fall into that category, make sure to add Firestone's to your list of "must-go" places.

Sandwiched between Gordon's Meat Market and Paris's Cap & Cork, Firestone's uses their space to its advantage.

With a small (but delicious) menu, some good-spirited drinks, and a few eggs up their sleeve, they are serving up some pretty delicious pizzas, sandwiches, salads, and more!

I've been told by several people that this was a must-try for me. I am SO glad I did! I was able to head over and enjoy some lunch with some of my favorite people (read: Ryan & LC).

The menu was small but that doesn't mean that it wasn't good. As mentioned earlier, they had some really good, I mean, really good, choices on their menu. I had to make a really tough decision for an afternoon lunch choice.

I eventually landed on a pepperoni pizza. Best. Decision. Ever.

The crust was perfectly cooked, the pepperoni wasn't overdone, the cheese wasn't waxy (IYKYK), and the sauce was just enough. Usually, I'll require ranch with my pizza. Not this time!

The pizza was 10" but was a little too much to eat alone. I was glad Ryan was there to share a few slices. Even after he finished his burger and fries.

To say that we all needed an afternoon nap was an understatement.

Details on something I ate:

  • Restaurant Name: Firestone's

  • Location: 4823 Peach Street Erie, PA 16509

  • Item(s) Ordered: Pepperoni Pizza

  • Price: $11 (pizza only) + taxes/tip

  • Value: I feel like this is pretty on par, price-wise. Some may find it a bit more expensive but it's all about what you feel is a good value. I didn't think spending $11 myself for food for lunch was too bad. I was overly satisfied with it.

  • Atmosphere: Seating is optimized for the space they are in. All the tables are high and range from 2, 4, and 6 tops. They don't seem to mind adjusting seating for your party. There is seating available at the bar.

If you follow them on social media (read: you should be!), you will see that they have specials for the day! They range from soups, salads, pizzas, and even select cuts of meat. Why wouldn't they when Gordon's is their neighbor!

If you are into some delicious beers, they have rotating beers on tap and feature some pretty good ones. Can't find what you're looking for? Their neighbor on the other side is Paris's Cap & Cork. Create your pack to-go or grab a few of your favorites!

If you pop into Firestone's, let me know! Maybe we can talk about something we ate!
